Hi, I’m Kayla!

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a therapist in Mint Hill, North Carolina. I help people who are dealing with anxiety, OCD, or trauma. I use proven tools like ERP, EMDR, and ACT to help my clients feel better and take steps toward the life they want.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My job is to listen, support you, and help you learn new ways to handle hard thoughts and feelings. I’ll work with you to make sure you feel safe and understood.

I just moved to North Carolina from Utah, and I’m excited to be part of this community. When I’m not working, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, and finding new places to explore.

Anxiety

Anxiety can interfere with work, relationships, sleep, and more. I have a track record for giving clients the tools they need to find relief from their anxious thoughts using CBT, ACT, and ERP.

OCD

Many therapists treat OCD with cognitive behavioral therapy- but research shows that doesn’t work. I use ERP- Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy- the only therapy proven to treat OCD. 

Trauma

Sometimes trauma is one major devastating event, and other times it is a hundred small events that lead to self-doubt or fear. Either way, I am trained in EMDR to help you move forward.
